Police arrest man in north-end Halifax stabbing
Police are investigating a stabbing that occurred early this morning in north-end Halifax.
Officers responded to a call of an injured person in the 3500 block of John Parr Drive at 1:03 a.m.
It was initially reported that a 38-year-old man had fallen from a balcony and stabbed himself. However, further investigation indicated that he was stabbed after getting into an argument with someone known to him.
The victim was taken to hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
A man was arrested at the scene without incident. The Halifax Regional Police/RCMP Integrated General Investigation Section is investigating the incident
