Boyd drops out of Halifax mayor's race, again
The race for the Halifax mayor's race has lost a candidate.
David Boyd announced on his website that he is withdrawing his candidacy as of 12:01 a.m. Friday.
His departure leaves local entrepreneur Fred Connors, former Cape Breton regional councillor Vince Hall, former Halifax police detective Tom Martin, former Dartmouth-Cole Harbour MP Mike Savage, and Dalhousie University student Matthew Worona still vying for the top job.
