Five people face drug charges after a raid last night in Dartmouth.

Police searched an apartment in the 100-block of Albro Lake Road at 11:20 p.m. Thursday.

Inside, Halifax Regional Police and RCMP said they found an undisclosed amount of crack cocaine, hydromorphone, cash and drug paraphernalia.

Officers also arrested five people — two 41-year-old men and three women aged 23, 24 and 25 — and charged them with two counts each of possessing drugs for the purpose of trafficking.

The accuseds, whose names were not released, are expected to appear in Dartmouth provincial court at a later date.
